Amy Wrenn Vieth joined Electric Advisors from the banking and finance industry where she worked for international banks for many years. After earning a master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University in 1985, she worked as a manager for Citibank in the mortgage field and, later, as a manager for Citibank’s Georgetown retail bank.
Amy left retail banking to become the Foreign Exchange (FX) Marketing Manager for American Security Bank, which subsequently merged with Maryland National Bank and finally became Bank of America. As the FX Marketing Manager, Amy monitored the FX markets from the trading desk and consulted with clients and other bank employees about pricing and buy/sell opportunities.
As an energy consultant at Electric Advisors, Amy consults with companies about electricity and natural gas prices and trends to develop purchasing strategies.
